What many in our culture prefer is the plastic flowers from Target. They are easy, fabricated replicas of what a living thing OUGHT to be. Chruch should never be a replica. Can I offer another analogy for your situation? They don't call it a church PLANT for nothing. Plants take time to grow; they require nurturing and nutrition; they often require pruning and re-potting; and they sometimes grow in unexpected ways. But, when those flowers bloom...WOW!
