		<description>Erika, what a great story. We do often judge people on perceived motives when we really don’t know what is in their hearts. I have a friend who didn’t grow up in the church. I connected her with our church, and she attends a different one now. Her kids grew up in a church as a result, and when she changed churches (for a job as a vocal soloist) her younger daughter continued to be active at our church. It is difficult for those who didn’t have the opportunity when younger to understand and connect with a faith community, but when they do it can make a huge difference in their lives.

This is an example of what I used to tell you about there being huge spiritual needs in suburbia and that urban ministry, however important, is not the only place where ministry makes a big difference in peoples lives. Thanks for sharing this, and I hope you can find time to contribute more of this kind of thing to your blog. We miss it.</description>
